MIFTAH was established in 1998 as an independent Palestinian civil society organization dedicated to promoting democratic values and fostering meaningful and effective dialogue. MIFTAH regularly produces reports documenting violations faced by Palestinian women which are disseminated internationally through various platforms and submitted to relevant international bodies to support advocacy and accountability efforts. To that end, MIFTAH adopts the mechanisms of an active and in-depth dialogue, the free flow of information and ideas, as well as local and international networking.
