Quentin Eichbaum

Quentin Eichbaum is vice-chair at the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Institute, where he is also Professor of Oncology and Medical Director of Transfusion Medicine. Born and raised in Namibia and educated at MIT and Harvard Medical School, his interdisciplinary work spans medicine, global health, medical and health humanities, and meta/neurocognition. He co-founded and chaired the international Health Humanities Consortium and the Global Health Humanities Working Group at CUGH, and has authored five medical books. He is also co-author of Metacognition, Metahumanities, and Medical Education and a forthcoming book on Global Health Humanities.
