Research Process

The lights of Boston (NASA, 2021)
- Our research agenda is driven by the WPF’s mission, staff expertise, and pressing global issues.
- Building on WPF’s historic focus on international cooperation, justice and disarmament, we set our own agenda. We answer to our conscience and our board, not to donor demands.
- The World Peace Foundation moved to the Fletcher School in 2011, with new leadership and new priorities. Our team brought research expertise in African peacemaking, famine and atrocity prevention, and we have added capacity on issues of the global arms trade and mass incarceration.
- We engage on urgent issues where our distinctive voice can make a difference.
